About CHSCF

Support, connection, and hope for young adults facing cancer.

The Cassie Hines Shoes Cancer Foundation helps young adults navigate cancer through meaningful programs, practical resources, and a community that shows up when it matters most.

Our Mission

The Cassie Hines Shoes Cancer Foundation exists to support young adults facing cancer with connection, encouragement, practical resources, and meaningful experiences that help them move forward.

Our Story

A foundation inspired by Cassie’s spirit.

The foundation was created in honor of Cassie Hines, whose courage, spirit, and determination continue to inspire everything we do.

Cassie’s journey shaped the vision for CHSCF: a community where young adults facing cancer can feel seen, supported, and empowered. Her legacy lives on through every program, every relationship, and every life touched by the foundation.

What began as a tribute to Cassie has grown into an organization dedicated to helping young adults through one of the most difficult experiences of their lives — and reminding them that there is still joy, purpose, adventure, and community ahead.

Why It Matters

Young adulthood doesn’t stop when cancer begins

Young adulthood is a time when people are building their futures, gaining independence, and discovering who they are. Cancer can interrupt all of that in an instant.

Young adults often face more than treatment alone — including isolation, financial pressure, disrupted plans, uncertainty, and the emotional weight of trying to move forward while life feels paused.

That is why connection matters. That is why practical support matters. That is why shared experiences matter.

  • Isolation & uncertainty

Leadership

CHSCF is guided by a dedicated board and community of supporters committed to carrying Cassie’s legacy forward and expanding support for young adults facing cancer.
